The head office will also coordinate the entertainment bookings, offering an impressive roster of professional singers and musicians who have contributed to elevate the House of Jazz to the rank of ‘Jazz Mecca’ in Canada. A schedule is prepared for up to three months in advance, rotating the artists from one place to another, thus insuring uniformity and affordable fees.

franchise fee: $75,000
royalties: 5 % + 2 % for the advertising fund
approximate cost: $ 200 / sq. ft ($ 700,000 to $800,000)
a minimum of 3,000 to 4,000 sq. ft, plus a terrace and 18 ft high ceilings for a mezzanine and various levels
The concept could also be developed through co-branding (sharing a location with a strong brand), and /or non-traditional outlets (hotels, airports, etc.).
